Let me get this straight. The majority of the votes are people who want to create their own path. So making one's own path to be different, really isn't that different or unique at all? Apperently it's a path very well traveled and set.
Also to take a path just to be different than to follow it because it happens to lead to your honest to goodness destination.
So instead of all this pretentious and convoluded crap about taking a path because it is less traveled and getting all Rober Frosty here, who was misenturpreted a LOT anyway. How about you worry about getting to your destination. Take whatever way will lead you there. If it's right for you, then take it.
lol sounds like me and directions on a road trip! "The obvious way is to the right... NOT LEFT... I said Right!!! Great now where lost!" XD. But I do know what you mean though, quite an interesting idea you bring up
i am currently walking a path wich i am making it is less traveled and a true path but it is long and wearry as well.in order for one to find there place they must travela road wich is never been traveled befroe then one will find were they belong and were they end up will be far better than were one goes if they travel a road wich has been traveled many times.

On a more serious note, I dont believe in paths. Who says we have to follow a laid out path when we can just roam free?
We could roam, but what if we had no choice but to pick one or the other? What happens if every other direction is barricaded, and you have no choice?
to complete my little fragment...
is just as well to take the path well traveled just because it's easier.

Sometimes going "offroad" is a good idea, but don't stray to far away from the beat'n path or you could get lost
